Service Before Self

Have you ever witnessed trees eating their own fruit?  The answer is “No”. Likewise rivers don’t consume their own water. In simple terms, “Service before self” means to put others before ourselves. Ever since Covid -19 is declared as pandemic, mostly all of us are staying at our homes. Who all are putting their lives at risk for us? The police are at work just for our well being. The doctors and nurses are leaving no stone unturned in taking care of us until we get well. True Service is formless. Even a small act of service is highly appreciable and gives immense joy if it is done selflessly for others.

The Mysterious Person

One fine day, two very bored friends had nothing to do, so they decided to go for a stroll. As they were walking, they heard a feeble voice calling for help. They went to explore the source of the unknown voice. They looked in every nook and cranny of the town, but failed to discover it. So, they decided to go their friend’s house as they were very exhausted. They felt embarrassed and guilty that they could not find or comfort the mysterious person. They decided to go for an investigation the next day. They went to the exact location where they heard the sound and started looking for clues.
