The Same New Year
A new year, a new beginning Is what many people say, They go to each other’s houses grinning, With a red rose bouquet. They have a good dinner together, And then say their goodbyes. I believe the cold weather Is not what I would advise. Resolutions come with the year, Which many people make, But those are what I fear, They keep me for nights awake. I think this year is same as last, I see nothing that is new, I am doing the things like I did in the past, Oh! I don’t want this year to redo.
