Every Moment is a Fresh Beginning

Image
Let go of the past, Because the world is too vast. Open a new gate, And start with a clean slate. Have you ever seen the flow of a river going backwards? The answer is NO. Similarly, we should move forward in our lives and leave the past behind. We all experience failures, but that doesn’t mean that we should cry over spilt milk and not start afresh. The past is past and it can’t be changed, we should erase that from our minds and start every moment with vigour and a grin on our face. Fresh beginnings should not be waited for New Year or a particular day, instead they should begin right now. Fresh start is related to reading a new book, improving ourselves by overcoming our negative traits or it could be anything we want to begin with. We should remember that every new moment can change our destiny.

Characterization of Matilda

Image
M y favorite  character is Matilda Wormwood from  the book ‘Matilda’ by Roald Dahl. At the age of three, she taught herself to read newspapers and magazines. She was curious and had a brain of an 11 year old. She was a quick learner and had an extraordinary mind because she had learnt almost everything at an early age. She was self-dependent and her father used to discourage her to read and instead told her to watch T.V. When she was at school, she discovered that she was gifted with a magical power. If I ever meet her, I would ask her to tell me  the secret of learning so quickly.
